MOUNTAIN BIKE LIGHT
The Santa Barbara County Search and Rescue (SBCSAR) team has a specialized mountain bike team that is used for search and rescue operations on the mountain trails of Santa Barbara County. The mountain bike team provides a rapid response to emergencies in remote locations that are inaccessible by vehicles.
Lights are vital for the bike team to operate during the dark of night. Mountain lights on the bike, as well as headlamps to direct light around corners ensure the safety of the rider. New lights are needed to be purchased with every new bike or to replace damaged lights from falls and general wear and tear.
