MOUNTAIN E-BIKE
The Santa Barbara County Search and Rescue (SBCSAR) team has a specialized mountain bike team that is used for search and rescue operations on the mountain trails of Santa Barbara County. The mountain bike team provides a rapid response to emergencies in remote locations that are inaccessible by vehicles.
The bikes undergo extensive wear and tear from the rough terrain of the mountain trails. Bikes require routine maintenance, parts replacements. New bikes are also needed to be purchased when one has been too damaged for repair or as the bike team grows with additional riders.
